Perfect, Parts I and II

Everyone reading this probably knows I love avocados, so you won't be surprised that I wanted to document the joyous sight that greeted me this morning--a perfect avocado! And I will even share my secret family recipe for enjoying this lovely fruit: Lightly toast your favorite (preferably non-white) bread, spread on a little mayo, pile on some sliced/mashed avocado, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Perfect!

I, too, love avocados. Some people call them alligator pears. Those rich, mouth-filling, tree-ripened fruit are unlike any other.

Ahuacatl in the Aztec language (Nahuatl) means both "fruit of the avocado tree" and "testicle." (Yikes.) Guacamole apparently derives from ahuacamolli, meaning "avocado soup or sauce."

My variation of your sandwich adds a dash of cumin and a light dusting of chipotle powder.

I tried messing with "perfect" and shook a little cumin on part of my avocado toast today. Good too. BTW, the avocados in Peru are huge and delicious!
